The Beauty of the Heart
Kindness on The Court – Heroes Abound on Both Sides
This story brought tears to our eyes. It starts when the Coronado High School Basketball Coach Peter Morales decided to give a surprise gift to the team’s manager – Mitchell Marcus. At the team’s last game against competitor Franklin High School, Coach Morales planned to put special needs student Mitchell Marcus into the game.
That gesture of kindness would have been enough… but when you see the act of amazing sportsmanship shown by opposing player, Jonathan Montanez, you will not be able to keep from tearing up. All the people involved really renew our faith in the beauty of treating others as yourself.
Nature’s Beauty
