James has been in the LA music scene for years and has a large following. He started out working with Dwight Yoakam and Rosie Flores, coming up with his own brand of Rockabilly as he did. A little known fact: Peter Bogdanovich, who worked with him and is a fan, based the River Phoenix character in “The Thing Called Love” on James. James also had a role in that film, and has other acting credits which include “Indian Runner” directed by Sean Penn, “61*” by Billy Crystal, and starring beside Billy Bob Thornton in “Chrystal.” While currently touring world-wide, James’ hometown is L.A. and he often plays to packed out crowds of loyal fans at places like Joe’s in Burbank, or The Observatory in Santa Ana, where he will be on January 19, 2019.

Brought back memories of dancing a little 2-step with my then fiancé at a little honky rink bar in Chatsworth in the 80’s. Thank You
